OB pre-bonfire

Yes, yes, i did go surfing twice in one day. the cronkite pics from below were from noonish... then i paddled out again for about 45 min before the sun set out at ocean beach. we then proceeded to have a hot dog cookout on the beach. good times at OB

Another large day

Just when I thought Cronkite couldn't get any bigger... it did today! I got worked a couple times, but it made it worth it for the two waves that I did catch. W once again dominated. In one of the below pictures, there is a guy getting barreled and he is actually in the wave covered up. If you click on it, you should be able to see him. No broken boards today.....sorry!

Broken Board

Well, i dont know if the pictures do it justice, but it was a very large day at Cronkite(Rodeo Beach). I got dominated several times and the bottom of Wray's board(which was actually kartika's) litterally pealled off. weirdest thing in the world. the fiberglass just pealed off in two strips. we think it happened when he was turttling under one of the set waves, but who knows.

More Dawn Patrol

I am sorry to say that these are the only pics from this surf adventure. The waves at Linda Mar were horrible so we did not even surf. The trip must be documented though. Enjoy

Unfavorable Conditions

Well, yesterday was not the greatest day in the world to go surfing but we went anyway. While we didn't catch many good waves, we did get a good workout and some great food courtesy of taco bell. mmmmmm......

Pure Irish Butt(er)

Dawn Patrol once again turned out to be a great morning. We surfed linda mar and pretty much had the wave to ourselves all morning. Clean and Glassy, two words that we like to hear. Oh and we saw a truck that said "Pure Irish Butter" but the e and the r were kinda covered up. Needless to say, it gave us a laugh or two.

OB goes off again.

9:00AM. Light offshore winds. Shoulder to a couple feet overhead. After an hour out there in relatively good surf, the wind switched to sideshore. The fog came in quick. It looked cool, but really screwed up the surf. Good times.

New PigDawg In Town

On Saturday, Me and My Beautiful Fiance were able to go out and take a tour of the beaches. We started out at Linda Mar and Surfed there for a while, then proceeded to go for a walk at Ocean Beach and then finished the day with a nap at Cronkite. Enjoy the pics!
